Project Description:
Deanna Robinson Interiors, Inc. wanted to bring Craftsman style to the California Riviera in this stunning design project. The warm, inviting rooms of this Coastal Craftsman residence show off elegant finishes, unique architectural details and sophisticated custom flooring, without losing their emphasis on comfort, casual ambience and at-home entertainment.
The clients' antique china collection is showcased in the comfortable, elegant living room, where new furnishings in English fabrics blend seamlessly with antique pieces. Textured woven shades and drapery panels in delicate prints complete the coastal feel. The richly faux-textured walls and ceilings and faux-burled insets in the column details add warmth and richness to the classic Mediterranean stone floors which feature luxurious metal inlays.
"Ninety percent of our clients want to do more entertaining at home," says Deanna. "They are spending more time at home and want to surround themselves with elegantly casual furnishings that allow them (and their family and friends) to relax, entertain and play in a comfortable, secure environment."
